The Executive Director of the Gaza Peace Council, Nikolay Mladenov, congratulated Egypt’s national football team after the Pharaohs secured their first-ever victory in the knockout stages of the World Cup.
In a post on his personal account, Mladenov praised the Egyptian team’s achievement and said it reflected outstanding discipline and resilience on the global stage.
“Congratulations to the Pharaohs on their historic first win in the knockout stages of the World Cup. This achievement reflects exceptional discipline and resilience on the global stage and brings well-deserved pride to Egypt and the region,” he wrote.
Mladenov also wished Egypt further success in the next round, expressing hope that the team would continue delivering strong performances that bring joy to Egyptian and Arab fans.
“We wish the Egyptian national team further success in the next round and hope they continue the honourable performance that has delighted Egyptian and Arab supporters,” he added.
