Actress Gal Gadot has wrapped her role as the Evil Queen in Disney’s live-action movie adaptation of “Snow White”.
The actress took to her social media to share a behind-the-scenes look of her with other crew members. With Gadot now finished filming her villainous role, it is safe to assume that the overall production is close to wrapping as well.
The live-action reimagining of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs stars Rachel Zegler as Snow White and Tony award-winning actor Andrew Burnap in a new lead character.
The new adaptation will feature an expanded story with different music than the original 1937 movie.
“The Greatest Showman” songwriters Benj Pasek and Justin Paul had penned the new music.
"Snow White" still does not have a release date yet.
Disney’s next live-action remake with a release date is “The Little Mermaid”, which is set to theaters on May 26, 2023.
The studio has also wrapped filming on a live-action remake of “Pinocchio” and a “Peter Pan & Wendy” movie. The two movies are set to debut on Disney+.
Disney is also developing a follow-up to their remake of “The Lion King” which will be focusing on Mufasa.
