Paris-Based Arab World Institute is organizing a tribute exhibition for influential female Arab singers. Several artists are being honored; they include: Umm Kalthoum, Fayrouz, Dalida, and Warda.

The exhibition also reviews the featured artists' lives, contributions, and political and social stands, especially, women issues.

Hana Bughanem, one of the exhibition's organizers, told Al-Ain that the core of the event is shedding the light on exceptional and influential figures that left unforgettable mark in Arab cinema, and music.

She added that figures such as Um Kalthoumm, Fayrouz, Warda, and Asmahan succeeded in breaking the taboos of their patriarchal societies, and achieved their dreams.

Targeting to introduce such remarkable icons to the French audience, the exhibition displays the singers' concert flyers, posters, clips from concerts, maquettes, and belongings.
