Former Barça Player Dani Alves to Land in Egypt Tonight

Former Barcelona right-back player Dani Alves, currently playing for the Brazilian club of São Paulo FC, is set to arrive in Egypt tonight along with his wife supermodel Joana Sanz.

They are scheduled to visit several archaeological and tourist sites in Cairo.

This is the second time of Dani Alves is visiting Cairo; he made his first visit with the Brazilian national team in the World Youth Cup, which was hosted by Egypt at that time.

Alves is considered one of the most crowned players in the world championships.

Alves won the majority 23 of his trophies at Barcelona over an eight-year period.

But he was lifting trophies at the age of 18 in his native Brazil with Bahia.

He won the Campeonato Baiano and two Copa do Nordeste at his first club before a move to Europe.

He joined Sevilla for the 2002/03 campaign, spending six seasons at Los Rojiblancos.

There he won a Copa del Rey, a Spanish Super Cup, two UEFA Cups, and a UEFA Super Cup.

During his spell at the Camp Nou, he lifted six La Liga titles, four Copa del Reys, four Spanish Super Cups, three Champions Leagues, three Super Cups and three Club World Cups.

Alves has returned to live in his homeland for the first time since he left Bahia as a teenager in 2002.
