Badr Abdel Aati, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, announced Egypt's full readiness to host this important event, the World Urban Forum, which reflects Egypt's status and ability to host major events.
He added that this event is an ideal opportunity to exchange ideas and search for innovative solutions that enhance urban development efforts.
He said that Egypt is witnessing an unprecedented urban and civilizational renaissance and Cairo is the world's capital of security and safety, explaining that there will be keenness to transfer the Egyptian experience.
Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, said during the conference announcing the details of Egypt's hosting of the World Urban Forum, in its twelfth edition, we look forward to the participation of specialists, developers and the private sector to participate in the conference.
He explained that Egypt has succeeded in developing solutions to the chronic problems that urbanization has suffered from, explaining that national projects have an effective role in development in Egypt.
He explained that Egypt seeks, through hosting the World Urban Forum, in its twelfth edition, to discuss global challenges to urbanization.
