Foreign Ambassadors Visit Egyptian Replicas Factory

The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities organized a visit for 20 foreign ambassadors and their wives for the Egyptian replicas factory.

The French, Spanish, UN, Japanese, Serbian, Australian, Colombian, and Greek and other ambassadors were received by the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities Dr. Mostafa Waziri and other officials.

Waziri explained to the guests the main target of establishing the factory, adding that the ministry signs every piece, in addition to adding a barcode to identify the information of the piece.

The factory has more than 150 working member including artists, workers, and archaeologists.

During the visit, the chairman of the factory’s board of directors, Hesham Shaarawi, gifted the visitors with 15% discount for any pieces they purchase.

The guests toured the various sections of the factory, in addition, they attended a film screening revolving around the replicas and its industry.

Finally, they praised the high quality of the production, in addition to buying several souvenirs for their families and friends.
