FM Wife Accompany 20 Ambassadors' Spouses in Saqqara Tour

The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities organized on Thursday a tour for the spouses of 20 foreign countries' ambassadors to the Saqqara antiquities area.

This comes as part of the promotion of various Egyptian touristic destinations and introducing the spouses to the ancient Egyptian civilization.

The spouse of the Foreign Minister and the spouses of a number of the Egyptian Foreign Minister's assistants participated in this tour as well.

The group was received by the Director General of Saqqara Antiquities, who accompanied them on a tour inside a group of pyramids, including the step pyramid of Djoser, the pyramid of Unas, the pyramid of King Tete, as well as the tomb of Kagmani, and the Serapeum, in addition to visiting the Imhotep Museum.

The visitors expressed their sincere happiness to participate in this tour, especially after the important archaeological discoveries witnessed in the region during the last period.
