English actress Florence Pugh has signed on to star in Swedish actor Alexander Skarsgård's psychological thriller movie “The Pack”.
Skarsgård is set to direct and co-star in the movie, which begins shooting in March.
The movie follows a group of documentarians who traveled to the remote wilderness of Alaska to save a nearly extinct species of wolves.
When the team reunites at a prestigious awards ceremony, tensions flare as a deadly truth threatens to unravel their work.
Jennifer Fox will produce the original script written by Rose Gilroy with 30West financing and executive producing. The project has echoes of the Fox-produced thriller "Nightcrawler".
"The Pack" marks the second collaboration between Pugh and Skarsgård after 2018's TV series "The Little Drummer Girl".
Skarsgard is a Golden Globe and Emmy winner for Big Little Lies. He made waves earlier this year with the release of the acclaimed Viking epic "The Northman".
