Universal Pictures unveiled a new trailer for the Blumhouse-produced film adaptation of the popular horror video game series "Five Nights at Freddy's".
The movie follows a troubled security guard as he begins working at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. While spending his first night on the job, he realizes the night shift at Freddy’s won’t be so easy to make it through.
It stars Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Lail, Piper Rubio, Kat Conner Sterling, Mary Stuart Masterson, and Matthew Lillard.
Emma Tammi directed the project from a screenplay by is written by Scott Cawthon, Emma Tammi, and Seth Cuddeback. The movie’s animatronic characters will be created by Jim Henson’s Creature Shop.
"Five Nights at Freddy’s" is produced by Jason Blum and Scott Cawthon. Executive producers include Bea Sequeira, Russell Binder, and Christopher H. Warner. Universal Pictures presents a Blumhouse production, in association with Striker Entertainment.
The movie is set for both a theatrical bow and a debut on the studio’s streaming service Peacock, on October 27.
