Egypt’s Minister of Antiquities and Tourism Khaled al-Anany received Naguib Sawiris, Chairman of Orascom TMT Investments to discuss Pyramids Plateau development project.
The meeting tackled the renovation works within the archaeological area to raise its efficiency including, providing transportation such as buses and electric vehicles, as well as portable toilets, introducing fast food services in the places identified and approved by the Supreme Council of Antiquities.
This came within the framework of the Ministry’s keenness to improve the quality of services provided to visitors in this archaeological site, which is considered one of the key tourist destinations in the world.
It is worth mentioning that the first restaurant is set to be opened in the pyramids plateau during this current month; it will be of a unique style without any building or construction.
