The release date for the highly-anticipated horror film "Youm 13" (Day 13) has been revealed.
The film is set to premiere in the cinemas during the Eid Al-Fitr movie marathon.
"Youm 13" stars Ahmed Dawood, Dina El Sherbiny, Sherif Mounir, Ahmed Zaher, Noha Abdin, Magdy Kamel, Nesreen Amin, Mohamed Kilany, Arwa Gouda, Mohamed Tharwat, Phaedra, Mahmoud Abd Elmoghny, and others.
The film was first announced in 2019 and marks Egypt's first-ever horror 3D film.
It marks the fourth collaboration between Dawood and El Sherbiny after working together in “Grand Hotel”, “Hepta”, and “Zay El Shams”.
"Youm 13" is directed and scripted by Wael Abdallah.
Not much is known about the exact plot details, except that Dawood is playing the role of Ezz Eldin who returns to his family house after a long time, and confronts his eerie past that he tried to forget.
