The first look and release date for Egyptian stars Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz and Dina El Sherbiny's new film "Talaqni" ("Divorce Me") have been unveiled.
The footage featured a married couple (played by Abdel Aziz and El Sherbiny) getting a divorce after numerous arguments.
In the clip, the former couple is seen having financial disagreements during and after the divorce arrangements.
"Talaqni" also stars Hatem Salah, Yasmin Rahmy, Donia Sami, Mahmoud Hafez, and more.
The official logline for the film reads, "A crisis between a couple that ends with their divorce. However, a financial crisis forces him to ask his ex-wife for help, and so begins a journey that includes many challenges and paradoxes, through which they discover their true feelings."
It reunites Abdel Aziz and El Sherbiny with the creative team behind the 2024 romance-comedy feature "El Hana Elli Ana Feeh," director Khaled Marei and scriptwriter Ayman Bahgat Kamar.
The pic also marks the second collaboration between Abdel Aziz and El Sherbiny after "El Hana Elli Ana Feeh". New Century is the banner behind the project.
"Talaqni" arrives in theaters on December 25. Watch the teaser trailer below.
