Egyptian musician-actor, Tamer Hashem has recently joined the cast of actor Hassan El Raddad's film "Taha Al Gharib".
The cast also includes Khaled El Sawy, Tara Emad, Noha Abdeen, Cynthia Khalifeh, and more.
"Taha Al Gharib" is directed by Othman Abu Laban and produced by El Sobky Film Productions.
It is based on the novel of the same name by the writer Mohamed Sadek.
Principal photography is underway.
Born on August 1, 1984, Hashem is a drummer in the Egyptian rock band Cairokee.
The band came to prominence in 2011 with their politically-charged protest songs inspired by the Egyptian Revolution.
As an actor, he appeared on the 2017 series "Sabe' Gaar", after which he co-starred with Karim Fahmy in the 2018 film "Ali Baba".
