The release date for Egyptian stars Mai Omar and Ahmed Elawady's upcoming film "Samson and Delilah" has been unveiled.
The film is set to premiere in the cinemas during the Eid al-Adha movie marathon.
Raouf El Sayed directs the pic from a script by Amgad Elsharqawy and Shady Mohsen.
Ahmed El Sobky serves as the producer for the upcoming film, who aims to offer a huge work that combines action and excitement.
The feature — marks the first collaboration between Omar and Elawady — is centered around a professional sniper (played by Elawady) who carries out assassinations without revealing his true identity and is romantic involved with "Dalila," (played by Omar).
Alongside Omar and Elawady, the cast also includes Khaled El Sawy, Essam El Sakka, Mohamed Tharwat, and more.


Omar made her last appearance on the big screen in the 2024 star-studded film “Baad Saat Fi Youm Ma” and Elawady in the film adaptation of late Egyptian scriptwriter Osama Anwar Okasha's novel "El Eskandarany".
The Eid al-Adha movie marathon lineup also includes, "Assad," "Adaf Khalko," "Khali Balak Min Nafsak," "7 Dogs," "Big Ramy,""Ibn Min Feehum," "Ezma," "El Crash," and "Welad El Asal."

Omar, born on February 7, 1988, started her career as a producer in the field of advertising, then got into acting in 2013 with her role as Walaa in the TV Series “Hekayet Hayah”.
She is best known for her roles in the TV shows "Alaqa Mashroa" (2023), "Lu lu" (2020), “Weld El Ghalaba” (2019), “Rayah el Madam” (2017), “Afaret Adly Allam” (2017), “Al Ostora” (2017), “Halet Eshq” (2015), “Kalam Aala Wara” (2014), and “Hekayet Hayah” (2013).
