The official poster for Egyptian stars Jamila Awad and Ahmed Hatem's highly-anticipated film "Red Flag" has been released.
The project marks the second collaboration between the pair after the 2021 rom-com "My Bride".
Rounding out the cast are Sherif Moneer, Nesreen Amin, Entsar, Saif Zahran, and Lebanese actress Reem Khoury, the latter marking her first time starring in an Egyptian film.
Mahmoud Karim directs the film from a script by Ahmed Mohy. It is produced by Mahmoud Abdullah, Ahmed El Genainy, Mohamed Rashedy, and Empire Movies.
"Red Flag" examines the critical role of trust in romantic partnerships and the destabilizing effects of suspicion.
Through a series of ironic situations and unforeseen plot twists, the film explores the specific pressures contemporary youth face regarding love and marriage.
By framing these modern societal anxieties through a comedic lens, it offers a lighthearted yet relatable commentary on the issues affecting today's younger demographic.

In the film, Hatem portrays a pilot opposite Awad, who plays an executive at an advertising agency.
The plot chronicles the numerous challenges confronting their marriage, which ultimately trigger a series of comedic scenarios revolving around themes of love, jealousy, and trust.
Hatem made his last appearance on the big screen in the 2024 film "Ashek" and Awad in the 2025 film, “Fi Ez El Dohr”.
