The comedy film "Mahmoud El Tany" from Tvision is coming to theaters on July 22.
The cast stars Jana Ashkar, Caroline Azmy, Ahmed Bahr, best known as Kozbra, Ahmed Ghozzi, Tamer Hagras, and more.
Written by Eiad Saleh and directed by Abdelaziz El Naggar, "Mahmoud El Tany" follows the chaos and unexpected situations that break out when one simple, ordinary name—"Mahmoud"—becomes the catalyst for a series of ironic twists, mistaken identities, and comedic face-offs that completely upend the lives of the characters.
This is not the first collaboration between Kozbara, Ghozzi, Saleh, and Tvision founder Tarek El Ganainy.
They previously worked together on the 2024 box-office hit film "El Hareefa" and it's sequel "El Hareefa: Al Remontada.
The films achieved high box office revenues, ranking among the highest-grossing films in the history of Egyptian cinema.
