Film "Khamas Gawlat" Makes Streaming Debut

Surprise! The sports film "Khamas Gawlat" (Five Rounds) is finally available to stream. It was released in theaters on August 16 and is now available on the Yango Play platform.

The film stars Adam El Sharkawy, Nour El Nabawy, Maged El Masry, Ayda El Ayoubi, Dalia Shawky, Mostafa Darwish, rapper Arsenic, and others.

"Khamas Gawlat" is the first Egyptian and Arabian film about Mixed martial arts (MMA).

MMA is a combat sport based on striking, grappling, and ground fighting, incorporating techniques from various combat sports from around the world.

The film is scripted by Mohamed Abdelmoti, directed by Mazen Ashraf, and produced by Alamz Film Production.

"Khamas Gawlat" marks El Sharkawy's first major acting role in an Egyptian film. He was introduced to Egyptian and Middle Eastern audiences by starring opposite Mona Zaki in the Egyptian TV series "Newton's Cradle" (Le'bet Newton) in 2021.

The film also witnesses El Nabawy's first major acting role in a film. He made his acting debut in season two of the critically acclaimed TV series “El Ekhteyar” (The Choice) in 2021.
