Egyptian stars Karim Kassem and Huda El Mufti’s heist comedy film “Hazak Al Youm” will make its streaming debut exclusively on "Shahid" on Thursday, February 9.
It also stars Marwan Younis, Taha Desouky, Mohamed El-Moula, Passant Shawky, and others.
The film is written by Ahmed Al-Bayli and directed by Osama Orabi.
“Hazak Al Youm” depicts how the lives of an influencer and a journalist changed when they witness a kidnapping incident that gets them and their friends entangled in one problem after the other.
Kassem, born on October 8, 1986, graduated from the American University in Cairo, where he studied theatre and starred in many of the university's plays.
He was discovered in 2006 while taking part in an acting workshop. Kassem made his cinematic breakthrough in the teen drug film "Awqat Faragh" (Spare time).
He is best known for his roles in TV series “Nasibi Wa Qesmetik 3” (2019), in TV series “Nasibi Wa Qesmetik 2” (2017), in film “Welad Rizk 2: A'wdat Osoud Al-Ard” (2019), in film “Welad Rizk” (2015), in TV series “El Horoub” (2012), in film “EUC” (2011), and in film “Awqat Faragh” (2006).
Kassem's latest artistic work is TV series “Lama Kona Soghiren” (When we were little), which achieved great success during its premiere in Ramadan.
It also stars prominent actor Mahmoud Hemida, Khaled El-Nabawy, Hany Adel, Nesreen Amin, Riham Hagag, Nabil Eissa, Mahmoud Hegazy, and others.
“Lama Kona Soghiren” is written by Ayman Salama, directed by Mohamed Ali produced by Synergy production company.
