Egyptian stars Ahmed Dawood and Mirna Gamil's rom-com film "El Crush" ("The Crush"), will feature a new song by Lebanese recording artist Nancy Ajram.
Written by Ayman Bahgat Amar and composed by Aziz El Shafie, “Bahen" arrived Thursday on YouTube and digital music platforms.
Along with Dawood and Gamil, the cast also includes Shereen Reda, Mariam El Gendy, Bassem Samra, and more.
Mahmoud Karim directs the film from a script by Loay El Sayed.
The feature marks the second collaboration between Dawood and Gamil after the TV series "Baba Wi Mama Geran".
Per the logline, "A love affair blossoms between a wealthy businesswoman and a simple accountant after a chance encounter, leading to a series of humorous situations."
The work focuses on the social and psychological differences between the two characters, questioning whether love can transcend all these disparities.
"El Crush" is set to premiere in cinemas on June 11.
Gamil appeared last onscreen in the 2020 romance feature "Taw'am Rouhy" and Dawood in the 2024 film "Al Hawa Sultan".
