The release date for Egyptian stars Ahmed Malek and Salma Abu Deif's highly anticipated film "Egy Best" has been unveiled.
The film is set to premiere in the cinemas during the 2026 Eid al-Fitr movie marathon.
It is written by Ahmed Hosny, directed by Marwan Abdel Moneim, and produced by The Planet Studios.

The project marks the second collaboration between Malek and Abu Deif after the 2017 critically acclaimed film "Sheikh Jackson".
"Egy Best" also features famed rapper Marwan Pablo making his acting debut.
Mohamed Abdu, one of the founders of the band Black Theama, is also attached to star in the pic.

The film is inspired by the true story of the founders of EgyBest, one of the most famous movie piracy websites in the Arab world.
It takes audiences on a deep journey into the world of digital piracy, through two childhood friends in Cairo's Al-Marg neighborhood, whose passion for cinema leads them to create the site, which achieves tremendous success but radically changes their lives and raises questions about the ethics and legal challenges of the digital age.
