The cast and crew of the highly-anticipated film “Ahl al-Kahf” will resume production in Morocco after Eid al-Fitr.
The film has completed 70% of the shooting and is expected to conclude principal photography within a month of resuming production.
“Ahl al-Kahf” takes place in 250 AD and is shot in three countries: Ireland, Morocco, and Egypt.
“Ahl al-Kahf” stars Khaled El Nabawy, Ghada Adel, Mahmoud Hamida, Mohamed Farag, Amr Abdel Gelil, Ahmed Fouad Selim, Reem Moustafa, Sabry Fawaz, Abdel Rahman Abou Zahra, Hager Ahmed, Maged El Masry, and others.
The film is based on Tawfik el-Hakim’s novel of the same title and is adapted by Ayman Bahgat Kamar and directed by Amr Arafa.
