Warner Bros. Pictures unveiled Monday the trailer for the remake of "Father of the Bride".
The reimagining follows the plot of the 1991 movie franchise of the same name, which starred Steve Martin, Diane Keaton, and Kimberly Williams, as well as the original 1950 flick which was led by Spencer Tracy, Joan Bennett, and Elizabeth Taylor.
The project is centered around panicking parents (played by Andy Garcia and Gloria Estefan) and reflects the world we’re living in today.

The trailer reveals a young woman named Sofia (Adria Arjona) announcing to her parents Billy (Garcia) and Ingrid (Estefan) her recent engagement to her short-term boyfriend, Adan (Diego Boneta).
The footage features the stress the patriarch of a traditional Cuban American family is under as he insists on paying for the wedding while keeping up with a multitude of other long-held traditions.
It also highlights the happy couple focusing on their special day amidst being oblivious to the ongoing drama between Billy and Ingrid who are preparing to tell their family their plans to porce, a decision the duo hopes to keep hidden until after the big event is over.
"Father of the Bride" also stars Isabela Merced, Enrique Murciano, Macarena Achaga, Ana Fabrega, and Chloe Fineman.
The updated rom-com is penned by Matt Lopez and directed by Gaz Alazraki. The movie was based on Edward Streeter's 1949 novel of the same title.
"Father of the Bride" hits HBO Max on June 16.
