"Fast and the Furious" Legacy Trailer Takes Fans Back to Where It All Began

In just eight days “the end of the road begins” as the first trailer for the highly-anticipated tenth installment of the Fast and the Furious franchise is set to drop.

In anticipation of the trailer, a tease of the upcoming trailer, a “legacy” trailer has been released to remind fans where this high-octane franchise began.

The trailer acts as a sort of highlight real of the first movie, "The Fast and the Furious".

The footage showcases some iconic moments that still manage to excite fans including Vin Diesel, as Dom Toretto, giving his iconic “I live my life a quarter mile at a time” speech, to the appearance of late Paul Walker’s Brian O'Conner.

It also featured all the pulse-pounding street racing and heists.

End of an Era

What started as a simple action movie starring relatively unknown actors like Diesel, Walker, and Michelle Rodriguez has turned into a massive success.

The franchise now has billions of dollars at the worldwide box office, spin-off movies, spin-off TV shows, amusement park rides, video games, and more.

It has also helped launch the careers of the people in front of the camera and behind. The first installment really did cement a legacy deserving to be celebrated.

The tenth movie, "Fast X", is set to be huge as the series races toward its conclusion, and so far the marketing has reflected that.

With only two movies left in the franchise, Diesel and his co-stars are planning to go out with a bang that will satisfy fans.

The entire cast is set to return, including Diesel and franchise regulars such as Sung Kang, Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Nathalie Emmanuel, Rodriguez, Scott Eastwood, Cardi B, Michael Rooker, John Cena, and Helen Mirren, and Charlize Theron, who’s played the villain Cypher since “The Fate of the Furious.”

It will also introduce new faces such as Jason Momoa has joined the series as the film’s villain as well as Rita Moreno, Brie Larson, Daniela Melchior, and Alan Ritchson.

"Fast X" is directed by Louis Leterrier from a script by Justin Lin and Dan Mazeau.

The movie hits theaters on May 19.
