Renowned Egypt’s artist and former minister of culture Farouk Hosny witnessed the inauguration of veteran Bahrain’s artist Khalid Farhan’s art exhibition, entitled “Haneen” at Folk Art Gallery in the Arab Kingdom of Bahrain.
The maven Egyptian artist thanked the Bahrani artist for inviting him to attend this timely and significant event, pointing out that Farhan’s work is worth visiting in person.
Hosny also took to his social media platforms to confer words of praise and admiration upon the creative Bahraini artist Farhan’s exhibition.
On his social media platforms, Hosny wrote: “I am happy to be attending the inauguration of the Haneen art exhibition in Bahrain.”
It’s worth mentioning that Farhan’s art exhibition that marks the legacy and talent of late Bahrain’s artist Adam Haneen, has been resumed after a lapse of 12 years.
Haneen’s distinguished and stunning artistic style is visible in his exhibition — his portrait subjects are encompassed in saturated, bright hues.
Among the high-ranking officials and notable figures who witnessed the inauguration of veteran Bahraini artists’ art exhibition, were H.E Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, H.E Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Mutawa and Egypt’s ambassador to Bahrain Yasser Shaban.
The exhibition is running till March 9, at the Folk Art Gallery in Bahrain.
