Farouk Hosny Foundation Art Awards Ceremony to Take Place on March 7

On Saturday, Farouk Hosny Foundation for Culture and Arts announced the date of the 4th Arts Awards Ceremony and the group exhibition. The event will take place on March 7 at the Al Gezira Art Center in Zamalek.

Previously, the foundation revealed that the judging committees finalized the process of evaluating the participating artworks, and selected the finalists.

50 Artworks advanced to the final round of the painting competition. On the other hand, 4 individual projects, and 8 group projects qualified for the final round of the architecture award.

Regarding the sculpture award, 33 artworks were named for the final round.

8 projects qualified for the art critique competition final round, and 27 artworks advanced to the final round of the photography competition.

1056 from all over Egypt with 1850 artworks submitted their compositions in the various five branches of the awards: painting, sculpture, art critique, architecture, and photography.
