Acting Director of Russian Cultural Centers in Egypt Arseny Matyushenko will inaugurate a fine art exhibition under the theme of "Fantasia" by Alexandrian artist Omayma Abdelaziz, at the exhibition hall of the Russian House in Cairo.

Head of the Syndicate of Fine Artists in Alexandria, Hassan Wasfy, and Director of Cultural Activities and Secretary-General of the Egyptian-Russian Friendship Association, Sherif Gad, will attend the opening. The exhibition will continue until April 8.
"Fantasia" is Abdel Azziz's fourth solo exhibition. It features 53 artworks, which the artist describes as a representation of a dialogue with the self and the liberation of inner emotions, created by a variety of materials including acrylics, watercolors, and inks.
Abdelaziz is also a member of the Egyptian Writers’ Union, with several published literary works, including: Whispers of the Strings, Lavender Letters, Out of Time, The Red Goblins, Chants of a Lover, Your Ghost is a Passing Stranger, Paper Scraps, in addition to Children's stories in publications such as Qatr Al-Nada Magazine and the Kuwaiti Al-Arabi Al-Sagheer.
She has also illustrated many children’s stories in various magazines and designed numerous book covers for literary works.
