In an interview, the film's writer Joe Russo gave insight into how different the sequel is from the first movie and that it has a different color schematic.

"It's set in a different part of the world. It has a different pace, a different tone than the first one. And that, to us, is an interesting way to approach serializing a story, is that it's more surprising and unexpected, and you're not going to get the exact same movie that you got the last time out." he added.

Thor: Love and Thunder

Hemsworth can be seen in “Thor: Love and Thunder“, the fourth installment of the Thor franchise.

Directed by Taika Waititi, the movie sees Hemsworth reprising his role as Thor and Chris Pratt reprising his role as Peter Quill or Star-Lord.

It will also feature Christian Bale taking on the villain role as Gorr the God Butcher as well as Natalie Portman reprising her role as Jane Foster, who at some point in the movie will be wielding Mjolnir and taking on the Thor mantle.

The movie also stars Russell Crowe, Matt Damon, Karen Gillan, Tessa Thompson, Jaimie Alexander, Melissa McCarthy, Sean Gunn, Taika Waititi, and others.
