Police and firefighters quickly arrived at the scene after the explosion caused "noticeable tremors" in the surrounding area according to the Fox News website.
According to social media posts, the explosion resulted in significant damage to a building that was on fire, with dozens of people evacuated, the website reported.
Regarding the cause of the blast, the Metro Nashville Office of Emergency Management stated that it came from a parked RV that exploded.
Also, Singer-songwriter Cassadee Pope was one of those who witnessed the explosion's effects. She tweeted, "Our house shook here in Nashville," Pope tweeted. "Just praying nobody was hurt."
