Production has resumed on veteran actress and TV presenter Esaad Younis' new TV series "Teta Zozo" (Grandma Zozo).
Filming hit pause after one week of shooting due to the cast being busy filming their TV series for the Ramadan 2024 drama marathon. The series resumed filming after the Eid al-Adha holidays.
"Teta Zozo" also stars Salah Abdallah, Moustafa Gharib, Islam Ibrahim, Nada Moussa, Mohamed Kelany, Enas Kamel, Hamza El Eily, Nour Mahmoud, Mahmoud El Bezawy, Iman Youssef, and more.
The series consists of 30 episodes and hails from director Sherine Adel and scriptwriter Mohamed Abdel Aziz.
Younes portrays a ministry undersecretary who has two married sons and grandchildren. Her family faces various problems and crises, compelling her to solve these obstacles to save her family.
Younes, born on April 12, 1950, worked as a radio host at the Middle East radio station. She made her acting debut in the 1972 film "Unfulfilled Crime" starring Salah Zulfikar.
She became very well known after her role in the 1979 play “Al Dokhool Bel Malabes Al Rasmeya”.
