Russian House Launches “Ecology Is Everyone’s Responsibility” Contest

The Youth Club of the Russian House in Cairo organized an introductory meeting for the international competition “Ecology Is Everyone’s Responsibility,” as part of its efforts to support environmental initiatives and raise youth awareness about sustainability issues.

During the session, Oksana Hasab El-Nabi, Coordinator of Social and Humanitarian Activities at the Russian House, presented the award details and participation guidelines. She emphasized that the competition is an international platform open to everyone, regardless of age or place of residence, based on the belief that protecting the environment is a shared responsibility requiring collective action.

The competition aims to encourage creative ideas and projects that contribute to environmental protection and promote ecological awareness among young people worldwide, by harnessing art and innovation to serve climate and nature-related causes.

Participants can submit their work in several creative categories, including:

Short video

Drawing

Photograph

Animated film

Innovative environmental project

Submissions will be accepted until April 1, 2026. Participants may share their work on social media platforms such as VK and Rutube using the hashtags:

Winners will receive several benefits, including additional points when applying to Russian universities, scholarship opportunities, international recognition, participation in environmental projects, as well as certificates and special awards from the competition’s partners.
