With just over seven months from the 2024 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend, race organizers at Yas Marina Circuit announced the first headline act who will be performing at the event.
This year’s race falls on December 5-8, with headline concerts set to take place as part of the Yasalam After-Race Concert Series on each evening of the event weekend.
The post-race concerts have become a major selling point of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix since it first joined the F1 calendar in 2009.
Foo Fighters, Shania Twain, Ava Max, and Tiësto were the four headliners at last year’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, while previous performers include the likes of Def Leppard, Beyoncé, Rhianna, Stormzy, and The Killers.
Abu Dhabi Grand Prix concerts take place at Etihad Park, formerly known as the Du Arena, located between the North Grandstand and Ferrari World.
Yas Marina Circuit has now hosted more season-closing races than any other track, having overtaken Adelaide’s former record in 2023.
British rock band Muse was the first act confirmed for the 2024 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend, back in April.
They’ll be the last of the four headline performers, with their concert taking place after the Grand Prix on Sunday, December 8.
Abu Dhabi Grand Prix concerts take place on each day of the event, from Thursday to Sunday.
This is not Muse’s first performance at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. They took to the stage at the Du Arena as part of the Grand Prix weekend back in 2013.
More recently, the band played at the Marina Bay Street Circuit over the 2019 Singapore Grand Prix weekend.
American rapper Eminem is heading to Etihad Park on Saturday, December 7 for a special headline show set to take place after qualifying for the 2024 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
This will be Eminem’s second performance at a Formula 1 race weekend in 2024. He is also set to perform at Circuit of The Americas as part of the 2024 United States Grand Prix entertainment line-up.
Em is not a stranger to F1 or Abu Dhabi, either, having previously taken to the stage at the 2012 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
American pop band Maroon 5 – led by frontman Adam Levine – will be performing at Etihad Park on Friday, December 6.
The band also has past Formula 1 experience, having previously played at the Singapore Grand Prix twice, in 2012 and 2015.
The last headline act – for Thursday night – as well as support acts are yet to be announced for this year’s Abu Dhabi race, with more announcements due soon.
Tickets for all concerts are free-standing general admission access – though you can get closer to the front with Golden Circle ticket upgrades, which will be available soon in our ticket shop.
