Eminem, Detroit-born rapper, surprised fans by joining fellow hometown icon Jack White onstage, delivering powerful renditions of “That’s How I’m Feeling” and “’Till I Collapse.”

Jack White helped electrify his hometown on Thursday with a dynamic halftime performance during the Detroit Lions’ annual Thanksgiving Day Classic, the long-running NFL tradition that kicks off the league’s holiday games.

Hosting the Green Bay Packers at Ford Field this year, the Lions welcomed White to the center of the action for a special hometown set.

White opened with “That’s How I’m Feeling,” from his 2024 album No Name, before bringing out Detroit legend Eminem for a high-energy hard-rock fusion of the rapper’s hit “’Till I Collapse.”

He closed the halftime show with a thunderous performance of stadium anthem “Seven Nation Army,” joined on the field by the Detroit Lions Cheerleaders.

As the NFL captioned on social media, “only right in Detroit,” the moment quickly gained traction online.

White’s appearance was executive-produced by Eminem and longtime manager Paul Rosenberg, who recently entered a multi-year agreement with the Lions to oversee all halftime production for the Thanksgiving Classic through 2027, including artist selection.

Earlier this month, White was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame alongside Meg White (who, as expected, did not attend) as part of the White Stripes.
