Egyptian actress Eman El Assi will not participate in the Ramadan 2026 drama marathon.
El Assi opted not to participate in the drama marathon due to being busy with her upcoming TV series "Qesma Al Adl".
The drama is set to premiere during the off-season and marks El Assi's second time playing the title role in a drama.

She made her last participation in the drama marathon in the star-studded TV series “Gaafar El Omda”.
The series was one of the most-watched TV series during its premiere in the Ramadan 2023 drama marathon.
“Gaafar El Omda” starred Mohamed Ramadan, Zeina, Menna Fadali, Hala Sedki, Ahmed Dash, Monther Rayahneh, and more.
It was scripted and directed by Mohamed Sami and marked Ramadan and Sami’s fourth collaboration after the 2020 TV series “Al Prince”, the 2016 TV series “Al-Ostora”, and the 2017 film “Jawab E'teqal”.
El Assi, born on August 28, 1985, made her acting debut in the 2003 TV series “Ams la Yamoot” co-starring Raghda and Ryad Al Kholy.
She was nominated for her resemblance to Raghda, whom she played as her daughter.
In 2006, El Assi starred in the TV productions “Ahlam fel Bawaba," Ragol w Emraatan”, “Daawt Farah," before landing her golden opportunity in renowned actor Nour El Sherif's hit TV series “Hadret El Motaham Abby”.
El Assi is best known for her roles in films “Harb Karmooz” (2018), “Hamaty Bet-hebbeny” (2014), “Maklab Haramiya” (2009), and, “Masgoun Tranzit” (2008).
She is also known for her roles in TV productions such as "Jafar El Omda" (2023), "El Ekhteyar 3" (2022), "Ella Ana 2" (2021), "Bekhat Eleid" (2020), “Lams Aktaf” (2019), “El Hessab Yegmaa” (2017), “Amrad Nesaa”(2014), “El Horoub” (2012), “Al-Adhm” (2009), and “Hadret El Motaham Abby” (2006).
