El Assi made her last appearance on the small screen in the hit TV series “Gaafar El Omda”.
The series was one of the most-watched TV series during its premiere in the Ramadan 2023 drama marathon and featured the usual Mohamed Ramadan fix.
It also starred Zeina, Mai Kassab, Menna Fadali, Hala Sedki, Ahmed Dash, and others.
The series was scripted and directed by Mohamed Sami and marked Ramadan and Sami’s fourth collaboration after the 2020 TV series “Al Prince”, the 2016 TV series “Al-Ostora”, and the 2017 film “Jawab E'teqal”.
In June 2023, the TV series was renewed for season 2, with Mohamed Sami returning to direct from a screenplay he co-wrote with Mohab Tarek. Media Hub is the studio behind the series.
