With the approaching date of the 2020 CAF Champions League Final between Cairo's Al-Ahly and Zamalek clubs, which is set to take place at Cairo Stadium Friday night.
People were puzzled about the weather forecast for the day of the match, especially since Egypt is currently experiencing a wave of unstable weather, since Wednesday.
In a statement, Mahmoud Shaheen, director of the Meteorological Center at the Meteorological Authority (EMA), revealed that the rainfall will be light intensity on this day in Cairo, which is set to prevail in the morning and will not affect the match.
Shaheen added that moderate to heavy rain will prevail in Alexandria, Marsa Matrouh, El Salloum, Rashid, Damietta, Port Said, Al-Arish, and Rafah.
Moreover, it is predicted that moderate rains will hit in some areas of Lower Egypt including, Kafr El Sheikh, Beheira, Dakahlia, Gharbia, Sharqia, and Menoufia.
Meanwhile, the EMA stated on Thursday that the unstable weather conditions will improve on Saturday, in most parts across the country.
