EMA: Egypt to See Cold Weather on Saturday, Cairo 16°C

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts cold weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, the North Coast, and Upper Egypt during daylight hours on Saturday.

On the other hand, the northern coasts, South Sinai, and the Red Sea mountains will see moderately cold weather, while the south of Upper Egypt and South Sinai will experience moderate weather.

It is also foreseen that the country will experience a decline in temperature. Therefore, frost could be witnessed on the northern coasts, the middle and the south of Sinai.

Moreover, there will be mist on the roads and highways near agricultural and water bodies.

Meanwhile, extremely cold weather is foreseen to prevail across the country at nighttime.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 16°C in Cairo, 16°C in Alexandria, 16°C in Marsa Matruh, 16°C in Sohag, 16°C in Qena, and 19°C in Aswan.
