ElKhosht: Kasr Al Ainy Donates Kits Worth 2m Pounds to Cairo Univ.

Dr. Mohamed Othman El-Khosht, the Cairo University President, announced that the Kasr Al Ainy Foundation for Emergency Support, a charitable institution registered under the Social Solidarity Ministry, donated to Cairo University set of prevention kits for medical teams volume two million pounds.

The kits will support the university in fighting corona virus, provide protection for doctors, nurses, and workers who deal directly with patients in university hospitals.

Dr. Fathi Khudair, the university’s Assistant President for Hospital Development, explained that the protective supplies donated by the Kasr Al Ainy Foundation for Emergency Support included 4,500 N95 masks, 10,000 FFP2-FFP3 masks, 1,000 protective glasses.

The supplies also included 200 face protectors, 2000 protective suits, and 1000 guanty boxes and 1000 blue medical sleeve long sleeve, and 10 non-penetrative breathing machines.

Dr. El-Khosht said that the Kasr Al Ainy Foundation for Emergency Support plays an important role in supporting Cairo University hospitals and medical teams.

The Foundation earlier on donated a group of medical devices volume13 million and EGP750, 000 to equip the Diagnostic Radiology department at the new emergency hospital.
