Cairo Univ. Supports Irregular Workers and "Tahya Misr" Fund

Dr. Mohamed Othman Alkhosht, President of Cairo University, announced that he decided to donate 20% of his salary to support the irregular workers and the "Tahya Misr" Fund, as well as the salaries of deputies, faculties deans and their agents, the Secretary-General of the University, other members of the Council of the University, the councils of education, students, higher studies and community service, and the directors and deputies of the centers for three months.

He confirmed that this decision to support the irregular workers and the "Tahya Misr" Fund at the account number 037037 in all Egyptian banks, pointing out that the university has 27 colleges and institutes and 167 centers.

He called on faculty and staff also to make voluntary donations in the same proportion or within the limits of their ability to pay their salaries. He also called on students to donate their expenses or their salaries to help the irregular workers affected by the emerging Corona virus.

The President of Cairo University sent a message of thanks and appreciation for all the efforts made by the state agencies and their leaders and the medical and nursing staff that represent the first line of defense in the face of the emerging "Corona" virus, emphasizing that the exit from this crisis will not take place unless everyone joins hands.
