Lebanese superstar, Elissa has been tapped to perform the theme song of Egyptian actress Nelly Karim's upcoming TV series "Ala Ad El Hob," written and composed by Aziz El Shafei.
The drama consists of 30 episodes and is considered one of the most anticipated works in the Ramadan 2026 drama marthoun.
"Ala Ad El Hob" marks another collaboration between Karim and Sherif Salama. They previously worked together on the 2025 film "Gawaza Wla Ganaza", the 2023 film "Happy Birthday" and the 2022 TV series "Faten Amal Harby".
The cast also includes Safaa El-Toukhi, Mohamed Aly Rezk, Mahmoud Ellisy, Mohamed Abou Dawood, Ahmed Abdelghany, and more.
Khaled Saeed directs from a script by Mustafa Jamal Hashim. S Productions is the studio behind the drama.
The series consists of 30 episodes and is centred around a chef who returns from Italy to open his restaurant in his homeland Egypt, but he faces many situations and challenges during the journey.
"Ala Ad El Hob" is set to premiere on the "CBC" satellite channel and on Watch It during the Ramadan 2026 drama marathon.
