Lebanese superstar Elissa has been added to the lineup for the first edition of the New Alamein Festival in North Coast, Egypt.
The festival also features a lineup of top-notch singers such as Angham, Tamer Hosny, Ragheb Alama, Nancy Ajram, US rapper Russ, and renowned composer Omar Khairat.
The festival will run from July 13 to August 26, under the title "Alalam Alamein" (Alamein World).
It is set to be the largest entertainment event in the Middle East and will bring together the best of art, sports, and entertainment. is expected to draw one million visitors.

The New Alamein Festival comprises 12 activities, including a global fashion show by the top 10 fashion designers in the Arab world, a beach football championship, RC aircraft shows, a rowing championship, and an international badminton championship, among other events.
It targets boosting tourism and entertainment for tourists and Egyptians in this area to upgrade the city to be an international spot for tourism.
