On Monday, Lebanese superstar Elissa kick-started the countdown to the highly anticipated 13th studio album.
"It might be early for some but I already started my countdown ⏳⏳@ERecordsMusic #ElissaAlbum2023," she tweeted.
The acclaimed singer released her last album “Sahbit Raey” in July 2020.
Elissa has been the highest-selling female Middle Eastern artist since 2005. She sold over 30 million albums worldwide.
In 2005, she became the first Lebanese singer to be awarded the World Music Award for Best Selling Middle Eastern Artist, an award that she earned once again in 2006 and 2010.
The singer is often referred to as “Maliket El Ehsas” (Queen of Emotions) by fans and the media.
Elissa’s artistic journey began in 1992 when she won the silver medal in the Lebanese music competition “Studio El Fan”.
The singer’s debut studio album, “Baddy Doub” (I Want to Melt), was released by EMI Music Arabia in 1999.
