Egyptian actress Rania Youssef is set to star alongside veteran actress Elham Shahin in the film "Veto".
The film hails from director Yasser Samy and marks Shahin's comeback to the big screen after three years of absence since 2021’s film "Curfew".
It is directed by Amir Ramses and stars Ahmed Magdy and Amina Khalil. The plot takes place in 2013 on the day Fatin is released from prison. Her daughter, Layla (Khalil), and her husband, Hassan (Magdy), are there to pick her up, but it’s soon clear that all is not well between them.
Shahin will be seen next in the TV series "Alfredo".
Ahmed Fahmy and Nada Moussa will also star in the series.
It is scripted by Amr Mahmoud Yassin and directed by Issam Nassar. The series is based on a story from Dr. Mostafa Mahmoud's book “55 Problems of Love”.
"Alfredo" marks Shahin's comeback to the small screen after two years of absence since 2022’s TV series “Tloo El Roh” (Soul Leaving Body).
Shahin, born on January 3, 1961, has appeared in many Egyptian films and television series and has won both Egyptian and international awards.
