Elfeki Receives the New Chinese Cultural Counselor to Egypt at Bibliotheca Alexandrina

Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Dr. Moustafa Elfeki met on Tuesday with the new Chinese cultural counselor in Cairo "Yang Rong Hao" and his accompanying delegation that took a tour inside renowned Egypt's cultural venue.

El-Feky said that the meeting witnessed a fruitful exchange of views on some cultural topics, noting that enhancing the cooperation and bilateral relations between China and Egypt, which have seen real improvement for many years, can benefit both sides.

Meanwhile, Yang expressed his appreciation for the warm reception and hospitality he received in the Bibliotheca.

Moreover, the delegation expressed their great admiration for the valuable and rare collections that they enjoyed during the visit.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Chinese official received a number of literary publications, including “The Photographic Memory of Cairo” and a book on the history and discovery of the Rosetta Stone.
