"El Shater" Gets Streaming Date

Egyptian stars Amir Karara and Hannah El Zahed's film "El Shater" will be available for digital streaming next week.

The star-studded film, which opened in theaters on July 16, will hit the "Yango Play" platform on November 13.

"El Shater" also features Mostafa Gharieb, Khaled El Sawy, Mohammad Al Qass, and more.

Ahmed El Gendy directed the film from a script he co-wrote with Karim Youssef.

"El Shater" is co-produced by Synergy Films and Pyramids Productions and marks the first collaboration between Karara and El Zahed.

It also witnesses Karara's second venture into the action comedy genre after the 2023 film "Baebae" (The Bogeyman).

The film's official logline reads: "Adham (Karara) goes on an adventure and comedy trip to search for his brother with his friend Fattouh (Gharib) in Turkiye. During the trip, he meets Carmen (El Zahed), whose life changes 180 degrees after meeting her."

Karara was last seen on the big screen in "Baebae", and El Zahed can be seen in the star-studded film "Al Mashrue X".
