The series follows Marc Spector (played by Oscar Isaac), a former U.S. marine with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), who takes on the powers of an Egyptian moon god and subsequently takes up the vigilante moniker of Moon Knight.
The new footage echoes the same dark look of the series’ first trailer. The trailer re-introduced Spector as well as gave Dr. Arthur Harrow (Ethan Hawke) more screen time, who plays the series antagonist.
Gaspard Ulliel and May Calamawy will also play significant roles in the series.
Spector is from the United States in the original comic books. The character made its debut in Issue 32 of Werewolf by Night in August 1975.
“Moon Knight” is produced by Marvel studio boss Kevin Feige, along with Tommy Turtle and Jeremy Slater.
Egyptian filmmaker Mohamed Diab directed the upcoming series along with Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead.
Egyptian editor Ahmed Hafez is also taking part in the series.
