Egypt honored 32 women across the country and named them 2019 ideal mothers. The minister of Social Solidarity, Nivine El Kabbag announced the names of Egypt's ideal mothers, including a mother with a disability and a mother of a son with special needs from different governorates for the year 2020.
Amina Rashid" from Damietta Governorate won the first place, "Magda Thabet" from Alexandria Governorate won second place, and Zeinab Mohamed got the third place from Beni Suef Governorate. Also, Amina Abdel Hamid from Giza Governorate won the first place for people with special needs, and Amina Mohamed from Gharbia Governorate won as an ideal mother for the martyr of the armed forces, and Siham Mostafa Kamal from Cairo won a perfect mother for the martyr of the Interior.
El Kabbag said that the number of winning mothers reached 32 winning mothers according to the criteria and conditions set by the central committee formed by the representatives of the concerned authorities.
El Kabbag explained that the conditions for choosing the ideal mother for 2020 included several elements, including the mother’s giving to the family, the consolidation of human values for her, and the promotion of the meaning of the family in them. Also, the ability of that mother to maintain family cohesion, and to enhance the positive values of children and face challenges.
She stated that the conditions for the Ideal Mother Competition for 2020, that the advanced mother be more than 50 years old, and the advanced mother not have more than 3 children only, with the exception of the border provinces (the Red Sea, North and South Sinai, Marsa Matruh, New Valley, and Aswan).
