El-Enany Receives French Amb. to Cairo

Dr. Khaled El Enany, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, received in his office at the ministry’s headquarters in Zamalek, Marc Baréty, the French ambassador to Cairo, who recently assumed his duties as the ambassador to his country in Cairo, to discuss enhancing means of cooperation between the two countries at the tourism and archaeological levels.

The meeting was attended by Minister Plenipotentiary Dalia Abdel-Fattah, general supervisor of the general department of international relations and agreements at the tourism ministry.

The minister welcomed the ambassador and congratulated him on his new position, wishing him success in his work. He also stressed the close relations between Egypt and France, and the cooperation witnessed by the two countries in many fields, including tourism and antiquities.

They also discussed aspects of cooperation to attract more tourists from France to visit the Egyptian tourist destination and enjoy its tourist and archaeological potentials.

During the meeting, the minister talked about the Egyptian state’s endeavour to create new tourism products and patterns; as a result, the tourist can enjoy an exceptional and distinctive experience during his visit to Egypt.

The meeting also focused on discussing cooperation mechanisms to exchange experiences and train workers in the tourism and archaeological sector.
