Paris celebrated France's Bastille Day with spectacular festivities as the Eiffel Tower illuminated the city's skyline during a dazzling fireworks and drone show held on the eve of the national holiday.
In a departure from tradition, this year's main fireworks display was staged one day earlier than usual as part of a revised celebration schedule, allowing July 14 to focus on official ceremonies and the annual military parade along the Champs-Élysées.

The evening's festivities began at the Champ de Mars, where the annual Concert de Paris featured the French National Orchestra, the Radio France Choir, and a host of internationally acclaimed performers before thousands of spectators.
The celebration culminated in a 30-minute fireworks display launched from the Eiffel Tower and multiple locations across the French capital.
Best welcome ever!

For the first time, organizers incorporated illuminated drones, creating synchronized aerial displays honoring the Seine River and commemorating the 400th anniversary of the French Navy.
Large crowds gathered around Champ de Mars, the Trocadéro Gardens, the banks of the Seine, and elevated viewpoints such as Montmartre and Belleville Park to witness the show, with many opting for less crowded locations to enjoy the spectacle.
French authorities implemented extensive security measures for the event, including the temporary closure of several nearby metro and rail stations to manage crowds and ensure public safety.
The celebrations precede Tuesday's Bastille Day military parade in Paris, which is expected to be attended by several European leaders as France marks its national holiday.
