Cairo Opera House, headed by Dr. Magdy Saber, is commemorating Mawlid Al-Nabawi with a concert by Egyptian superstar Ehab Tawfik on Monday, October 18.

Tawfik will present spiritual invocations and prophetic praise such as “Ella Rasoul Allah”, “El Mesk Fah”, “Daoni”, “Madad Ya Naby”, and others.

The evening will also feature a performance by the religious song ensemble, led by Maestro Dr. Alaa Abdel Salam.

The concerts will take place at the open-air Fountain Theatre at 08:00 PM (Cairo local time).

It is worth mentioning that the religious song ensemble was founded in 1972 by the late musician Abd al-Halim Nuwayra and performed their first concerts in 1973.

The group was founded to preserve the religious heritage and is specialized in presenting religious music as well as training and adopting young promising talents to perform religious chants and invocations.

The religious song ensemble performs annually in Cairo Opera House's special Ramadan program.

The group also takes part in all religious events throughout the year at the opera house of Cairo, Alexandria, and Damanhour.
