Egypt's Supreme Council of Antiquities agreed to appoint 3868 employees from the temporary staff, whose contracts have been amended from the sixth pay grade to the first category of the salary scale.

Through this decision, 3868 temporary employees of the Supreme Council of Antiquities will officially take the helm as full-time and regular employees, while the contracts of nearly 591 members will be revised or replaced, according to the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities at the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities Mostafa Waziri.

“However, eight temporary employees will not be hired as the council had terminated their employment contract before this decision,” Waziri noted.
